"I see several positives in the 'new normal' that we're facing.  People are closer to family and loved ones than ever before. People are becoming better cooks. They’re causing less harm to the planet. Practically, they’re also provin "When this all ends I hope that people won't forget the true heroes that got us through all this. The truck drivers, delivery people, grocery store employees, janitors, garbage men, small business owners that stayed open to serve the communities "People think smoke detectors are a nuisance . . . until one saves their life. We were caught in a vulnerable situation in this pandemic in part because a lot of the early-warning infrastructure and expertise had been gutted by our government. O "No matter how bad a situation might seem, there is always a positive aspect to be found. What we are going through globally at the moment makes us realize how much we took for granted, and just how far we've strayed from the essence of our true "What's bringing me hope these days are children.⁠
Children in my neighborhood have been making chalk drawings with positive messages all along the sidewalk. It really brightens my day when I go out for walks.
